Hello and welcome! I’m Kayla Staves. I was raised in Connecticut, spent ten years soaking up the sunshine in San Diego, and eventually found my way to Apex, North Carolina. My family and I fell in love with the strong sense of community here and knew it was the perfect place to put down roots and raise our kids. It’s the kind of place where neighbors know each other, families stay active, and people genuinely look out for one another.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, traveling whenever we can, exploring the local greenways with our dog, or enjoying the little everyday moments—like dancing in the kitchen or catching a concert in the park. I believe in working hard, showing up for people, and building a life centered around family and community.
Before joining Hess Insurance, I spent 16 years in hospitality, where I learned the importance of listening, solving problems, and helping people feel taken care of. That experience shaped the way I approach insurance today. I enjoy building relationships, earning trust, and making sure every client feels comfortable and informed throughout the process.
